A Maryland native and true Renaissance Man, Chris has been with BIS for over 15 years. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University and shifting gears from a position as a Crisis Counselor, Chris started out as a coordinating assistant with BIS in 2000 and quickly moved up to become the office manager and then primary coordinator. To date, Chris has absorbed several positions and in addition to providing the primary coordination of all sign language requests in the local DC metro area 24/7/365; He also provides general IT support including the maintenance of our Online Scheduling System. Furthermore, Chris provides support with regard to Business Development and prepares our response to requests for proposals for sign language interpreting services.
